The long May weekend was in my head from late winter. Oh, what a beautiful one it is gonna be, what a wonderful adventures I will take on! But after great plans and dreams all is left is just a simple NO PLANS and I am perfectely fine with it!
I have just a few days completely for myself, without doing anything under preassure, without going to work, without emails, phone calls. Just the pure pleasure of taking care of myself and being good for myself! Easy to say but it easy to do?
NO PLANS – part 1
5 days, all 5 days, which I can use exactly as I want. Upsss, but what do I want to do? What will bring me real joy?
I have decided to start with the basics – before these days of pure freedom I have diecided to be a second Marie Kondo and clean up my surroundings. I have got down to work- I wiped away all the dust, I put nicely all things on the shelves, later I scrubbed the floor, changed the sheets, lit candles and was proud of myself! High five, my friend – that’s a good start!
NO PLANS – part 2
I wake up the first day, full of energy and prepare my second favourite after fried eggs, breakfast – omelette with banana! You can’t start the day better – try it yourself.
- 1 egg
- 1 banana
- Cocoa (optional)
- Peanut butter
- Natural yogurt
Crush banana with a fork, put into a bowl, add egg – mix it together. Add the oatmeal and cocoa (if you want to have a bit chocolate flavour). Blend it all together – if dough is a bit to watery add more oatmeal. Heat the pan, pour a little of olive oil. Pour in egg mixture and reduce heat to minium. Cover the pan and wait 10 minutes. Now it is time for a buick flip – keep the other side of omelette just for 3 minutes and voila!
When it is ready, spread some peanut butter on the top of your omelette, add natural yoghurt and sprinkle with your favorite fruits.
And now take a deep breath before your first bite! It is just a marvelous taste!
NO PLANS – part 3
The day has started just perfectly and now I am a few steps away from my personal heaven. I am getting there by devoting some time to nice work and later great lunch with some friends. The weather was good enough to enjoy nice meal and company with bright sun above!
I think my recipe for lazy time is so easy! Sun and food! And guess what? I have repeated all the steps for long five days and I couldn’t be happier!
